CP Kabera removed as Police spokesperson

The National Police has changed its spokesperson to ACP Boniface Rutikanga, replacing CP John Bosco Kabera who had held the position for five years.

The new police spokesman, ACP Boniface Rutikanga , was very visible in police campaigns such as Gerayo amahoro, in the fight against fires and others. He was currently in charge of the United Nations peacekeeping operations department.

In a statement released by the National Police on its Twitter page, it says that ACP Boniface Rutikanga is the head of the Department of Media and Communications, and the new Spokesperson of the Rwanda Police.

The replacement of CP John Bosco Kabera, is one of the most important changes made in the National Police after a short period of time by the former CG Dan Munyuza, who was replaced by CG Namuhorane Felix.

CP John Bosco Kabera, who became the Police Spokesman in 2018 replacing CP Theos Badege is one of the spokespersons of the National Police who have been mentioned a lot because of the position they have been given in the media during the fight against and prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic
