RwandAir, the national carrier, has added two Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet as part of efforts to increase passenger capacity and further strengthen regional and international operations.
The airline announced through its official X (formerly Twitter) account that the first aircraft arrived in Rwanda earlier this month and has already begun operating scheduled flights, while the second one landed on Tuesday night.
Each Boeing 737-800 has a seating capacity of 174 passengers and will mainly serve short- and medium-haul routes.
The addition of these aircraft is expected to enhance service delivery and help address common challenges such as flight delays and cancellations, providing more reliable travel options for passengers.
